The BTS GPME :

BTS GPME includes a strong focus on management, business administration, and their economic and legal environment. Candidates must master both written and oral communication, possess interpersonal skills suited to managing a small or medium-sized enterprise, and be able to process management data using technical and computational skills. Finally, they must demonstrate the ability to work in digital environments.

PRESENTATION

The BTS GMPE (Business Management and SME Support) is a state diploma at level 5 – BAC+2, awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation. This diploma trains versatile professionals capable of efficiently managing the various functions of an SME. Graduates of this BTS are equipped to manage human resources, particularly by overseeing payroll, contracts, and strengthening team cohesion. They actively contribute to the company’s commercial development by supporting the digitalization of processes and the creation of communication strategies, including in business English. Their proficiency with management tools also enables them to handle client and supplier relations, as well as administrative and accounting tasks. Additionally, they develop essential skills in analyzing financial and legal risks, contributing to the security and sustainable growth of SMEs. With these skills, BTS GMPE graduates are well-prepared to support the smooth operation and strategic development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

To train versatile professionals capable of managing the multiple functions of an SME. To strengthen skills in administrative, commercial, and financial management while integrating digital tools. To encourage initiative and autonomy, enabling graduates to play a key role in the strategy of SMEs. To develop a deep understanding of the challenges related to the digital transformation of businesses and modern management processes.

The validation of the training is achieved through the acquisition of all the technical and relational skills targeted by the certification. These are organized into 6 skill blocks:

  • BC01 – Manage relationships with the clients and suppliers of the SME

  • BC02 – Participate in managing the risks of the SME

  • BC03 – Manage personnel and contribute to human resource management in the SME

  • BC04 – Support the operation and development of the SME

  • BC06 – Economic, legal, and managerial culture

  • Identify clients through prospecting or responding to tenders

  • Process client requests (from quote requests to debt collection)

  • Inform, advise, guide, and handle complaints

  • Research and select suppliers

  • Ensure accounting follow-up of commercial operations

  • Conduct risk monitoring (internal and external)

  • Identify, evaluate, and address risks (legal, financial, operational) with corrective actions

  • Monitor the SME's financial risks, particularly cash flow management

2. PREPARE FOR THE SKILLS TEST:

All new applicants are required to take a skills assessment. This test lasts approximately 30 minutes and will take place on the day of your interview. The final result does not affect the admission process but helps assess your current level.

3. MOTIVATION INTERVIEW:

Following the skills test, a motivation interview will be conducted to better understand your background, professional goals, and motivations.
